Through the Senior Citizenship Delegation, the city of Nice organized the second painting and sculpture competition from February 4 to March 4, which is part of “Senior Arts Week”. This art-focused competition aims to highlight those who, upon reaching retirement, have successfully embarked on life paths that fully realize themselves.
This initiative is part of a range of activities designed to allow seniors to find full fulfillment by venturing into areas that best suit their personality (singing, dancing, art, writing, sports, travel, conferences…).
Nearly 100 seniors from Nice registered for this painting and sculpture competition, with their works being exhibited to the public on Wednesday, March 27 and Thursday, March 28 at the Mediterranean University Center.
The awards ceremony for the winners of the painting and sculpture competitions will take place on Thursday, March 28 at 5:30 PM at the CUM, presented by Jean-Michel Galy.
