Sure,
All members of the homosexual community of Nice-Cรดte d’Azur gathered at Garibaldi square on Saturday for the eighth edition of the Pink Parade, organized by the Gay and Lesbian Expression Association (Aglae). A colorful and vibrant event.

Gays, bisexuals, lesbians, transsexuals, etc.: they were all present on Saturday at Garibaldi square to defend the rights of the homosexual community on the occasion of the eighth edition of the Pink Parade.
The usually calm Garibaldi square came alive when musicians performed in front of a horde of tourists.
The very smiling dancers moved to the rhythm of brass and drums. It was reminiscent of the Caribbean. It just needed those enjoying this beautiful spectacle to be adorned with flower necklaces (of course in the colors of the homosexual community) to truly feel like you were there!
Allemand in favor of gay marriage
The vice-president of the Paca region, Patrick Allemand, present at the event, agreed to say a few words. “(The Pink Parade) is an event that is increasingly well organized. This manifestation is becoming one of the highlights of the city,โ he states solemnly.
When it comes to discussing gay marriage, the socialist aligns with the position of the Rose Party: โI have always been in favor! Homosexuals have the right to the Pacte civil de solidaritรฉ, but marriage is an additional step. Not allowing them to marry is discriminatoryโ. Itโs up to the majority to appreciate.
Sylvie Carotenuto and David Bertoletti, respectively president and secretary of Aglae, laud the success of the event: โWe are delighted with this success. All LGBT associations are here. Our community demonstrated without any incidents occurring. It was a festive day for the thousands of participants. We invite everyone to join us again next yearโ.
Lucien Recrosio, a grassroots activist from Europe Ecology-The Greens and a former CFDT union member, does not believe that the homosexual cause has become a political commodity: โOn the contrary, I consider that the Pink Parade or the Gay Pride are already political events. Today, it has become a social problem. As a politician, I defend this noble cause. Especially with the rise of the National Front, we are witnessing increased racist and homophobic attacksโ.
Gays having a blast
Far from reflecting on the positions of the Frontist party, the gay community of Nice-Cรดte d’Azur is having fun.
Riding on floats in the colors of the associations ADN, Aglae, Amnesty International, and others like Aides, they begin their neighborhood tour (from Garibaldi to Mamac, totaling 3.5 kilometers). The gays call out to the crowd or spray them with water guns!
Their outfits catch the eye: bunny ears, short skirts, swimsuits for women. Fishnets, fans, boas, glitter, leather clothes, wigs for men. The splendor of extravagance.
