The Strawberry from the Carros canton needs no introduction! For 39 years now, a large festival has been dedicated to it. This is an opportunity for the public to come and enjoy this delicious fruit that has made the town famous. On Saturday, May 4th and Sunday, May 5th, the Place Louis Frescolini will host long strawberry stalls offered for sale by local producers.
Also on the program: a market of local flavors and, new this year, an expo-sale dedicated to spring plantings. Children will not be forgotten with plenty of activities on-site, especially a culinary workshop hosted by the restaurant Le Crystal d’Or.
The 39th Strawberry and Spring Planting Festival will begin on Friday, May 3rd, with an evening for young people. Other highlights include the “pistou soup” dance evening on Saturday night and the blessing of the strawberries followed by the honorary aperitif on Sunday.

*Friday, May 3rd*
– 8:30 PM (Place Louis Frescolini): Youth evening with DJ, organized by the association Pari Mix’Cité.
*Saturday, May 4th*
– 2 PM – 6 PM (Place Louis Frescolini): Sale of Carros strawberries, Spring Planting Expo-sale, and Local Flavors Market
– Activities for children (animal farm, face painting booth, culinary workshops with the restaurant Le Crystal d’Or, games…)
– 8:30 PM (Salle ECOVIE): Meal “traditional pistou soup” followed by a dance evening.
*Sunday, May 5th*
– 9:30 AM (Place Louis Frescolini): Mass at the Chapelle des Selves and strawberry blessing.
– 12 PM (Place Louis Frescolini): Honorary aperitif orchestrated by the restaurant Le Crystal d’Or.
– 11 AM – 6 PM (Place Louis Frescolini): Sale of Carros strawberries, Spring Planting Expo-sale, and Local Flavors Market
