For a More Inclusive Christmas at the Maison de l’Environnement

Latest News

From Tuesday, December 3 to Friday, December 20, an Exhibition-Sale “Sacs à part s’accaparent” by the association ArtSens, winner of the 2013 Environment Trophies, will take place at the House of the Environment.*

From tote bags to handbags, from bundles to artist bags, more than 300 bags have been created from repurposed and recycled materials. This initiative aims to raise visitors’ awareness of environmental practices through sorting and recycling.

All proceeds from this exhibition-sale will be donated to the association “Osons la différence.” Sponsored by Noëlle Perna, this association aims to promote solidarity between able-bodied individuals and people with disabilities by participating in unique projects. For example: climbing Mount Kilimanjaro.

On Friday, December 6, starting at 6 p.m., the exhibition opening and a friendly drink will be held in the presence of the creators.

“ArtSens”

Founded in 2005, the association enables the meeting of artists from all backgrounds and anonymous individuals, facilitating the technical exchange among different and complementary participants: young people, seniors, people with disabilities, etc.

Thus, the association, based on Rue de Dijon in Nice, regularly organizes workshops and courses on the theme of Sustainable Development, particularly through the creation of objects from recycled materials.

*As an idea competition for a greener city, the Environment Trophies allow residents of Nice to contribute as actors to improving their city’s living environment. They thus promote projects and actions for a city that is more energy-efficient, quieter, and more accessible: a city imagining its environment for tomorrow…
