The elected representatives of the Provence-Alpes-Cรดte dโAzur Region Chamber of Trades and Crafts (CMAR PACA) have approved the full integration of the Alpes-Maritimes Chamber into the Regional Chamber.
It will now cover all the territories of PACA, whether rural or metropolitan, mountainous or coastal, with the same level of service and professionalism that its 132,000 craft businesses deserve.
The process of modernizing public action initiated in 2010 compelled the network of Chambers of Trades to pool their support services while encouraging more advanced regionalization.
Five departments of PACA chose this advanced option and created CMAR PACA in July 2015. With the decree of December 22, 2015, concerning the CCI and CMA networks, the Alpes-Maritimes Chamber of Trades joined CMAR PACA.
The CMAR office remains unchanged: it is composed of eighteen members (three elected representatives for each of the six departments), under the presidency of Andrรฉ Bendano. Jean-Pierre Galvez, President of the Alpes-Maritimes Delegation of CMAR PACA, is part of it.
For him, “proximity and the strengthening of the service provided to artisans are the common denominators of the network’s action.”
