This Thursday, Ladislas Polski (MRC) presented his greetings in La Trinité. The municipal candidate surrounded himself with a distinguished man: Jean-Pierre Chevènement, former minister and founder of the political movement whose colors the candidate wears.
The atmosphere was heated, the tent was full, and Jean-Pierre Chevènement had all the makings of a rock star. Acclaimed by the crowd, one would almost forget that it is Ladislas Polski who is the candidate in La Trinité.
On this Thursday evening, this meeting by the doctor by profession did not disrupt the norms. For more than just greetings, Polski presented part of his program, two months before the elections.
And if there are a few main ideas to remember, they can be summed up in three words: Renew, unite, and aspire. These three key words complement the candidate’s slogan: A fresh breath for La Trinité.
Ladislas Polski naturally sought to reassure all his loyal supporters by declaring: “I believe we are going to win”. An understandable optimism with two months to go until the final results. La Trinité is not developed enough to his liking, as a young activist pointed out before the candidate spoke. She reminded everyone that nothing (or almost nothing) was done for the youth, who are left neglected.
However, the majority of the evening was occupied by Jean-Pierre Chevènement, who took advantage of his notoriety to brilliantly occupy the podium in the tent.
While he declared himself “very happy to be here”, he proved his support for Ladislas Polski by saying that one should “watch out for him, as he is a very intelligent, open, and talented man”. Polski said he was “very happy to have a statesman by his side” while Chevènement already sees the candidate in “the mayor’s chair”.
Everyone thus threw a few compliments around on this Thursday evening where life felt good.
The Kings’ cake and the friendship glass that concluded the evening came to punctuate the warm atmosphere that, on this January Thursday, reigned in La Trinité.
