Unis-Cité is now recruiting young people (aged 18-25) from all backgrounds who want to be of service to others. Unis-Cité Méditerranée offers solidarity missions lasting from 6 to 9 months.
In the Alpes Maritimes, the missions offered are:
– Fighting against exclusion (friendly visits to isolated people, etc.)
– Citizenship (creating social ties through activities for different audiences, etc.)
– The “MEDIATERRE” program: awareness-raising actions about eco-friendly practices for families in energy precarity
These full-time missions are carried out in teams and allow volunteers to undertake actions beneficial to society while building a network with partners.
Recruitment at Unis-Cité is based on inclusivity and diversity.
The only requirement: MOTIVATION, with no skills or diplomas required. During their civic service at Unis-Cité, volunteers receive citizenship training and are encouraged to think about their future.
Their monthly stipend will be €440, supplemented by €100 in-kind benefits (food, transportation, etc.), and potentially an additional grant based on social criteria. They will also benefit from social security coverage and retirement contributions.
