For the eighth consecutive year, the city of Nice, its Communal Social Action Center, associations, and institutions committed to fighting exclusion are organizing a grand Solidarity Festival from October 10 to 17. A collection of hygiene products is organized until October 31, 2011, in the 15 recreation centers, the 5 municipal cyberspaces, the Louis Nucéra library, and the Garibaldi House of Associations.
Conducive to meetings and sharing, this week will be an opportunity to highlight the work of all those facing precariousness and to involve all the citizens of Nice in the city’s momentum of solidarity towards those in severe social difficulty.
On this occasion, a collection of hygiene products is organized until Monday, October 31, in the 15 recreation centers, the 5 municipal cyberspaces, the Louis Nucéra library, and the Garibaldi associations space. Stored by the Red Cross, these essential hygiene products will then be redistributed to local associations.
List of products (new, preferably in individual packaging): disposable razors, socks, toothbrushes, toothpaste, shower products, soaps, shampoos, after-shave cream, tissues, sanitary towels, cotton swabs, and condoms.
