The number of transactions increased by 15.7% by the end of December 2015, surpassing the threshold of 800,000 operations (803,000 compared to 751,000 in September and 694,000 in December 2014, marking an increase of 15.7%). In the last quarter of 2015, prices increased by 0.5%.
Another sign of improvement: For the first time since early 2012, house prices are rising compared to the same quarter of the previous year: they rose by 0.6% between the fourth quarter of 2014 and the fourth quarter of 2015.
Apartment prices continue to decline, but the decrease is slowing down (-0.8%, after -2.0%).
In รle-de-France, prices of older homes are almost stable in the last quarter (+0.1%, after +0.4%).
In the provinces, on the other hand, prices are rising: +0.7% in the fourth quarter compared to the third. Over one year, they slightly increased by 0.3% compared to the fourth quarter of 2014.
