Latest News

As part of the 19th day of the Women’s Basketball League, the Nissโ€™Angels (12 wins-5 losses) welcome the USO Mondeville Basket (8 wins-10 losses).

A week after their defeat on the Angers court (65-59), Rachid Meziane’s players will look to bounce back in front of their home crowd. The Nice technical staff will be able to rely on a full squad, notably Djรฉnรฉ Diawara, who has thrilled Nice supporters this season (12.4 points, 9.9 rebounds, 16.2 performance rating). They will also look for confirmation of Hind Ben Abdel Kader’s strong last game performance (14 points, 18 performance rating).

The Nissโ€™Angels will face Mondeville players seeking confidence, as the latter are coming off three losses in the last four days. Caution will be needed against the Canadian duo of Kimberley Smith-Gaucher (13.1 points, 7.1 rebounds) and Michelle Plouffe (13.7 points, 5.7 rebounds), who are sure to be ready for the event.

The Nice players will have the opportunity to cross paths with their former teammate Kristen Brooke Sharp (10.7 points, 13.0 performance rating), the Franco-American who played for the Nice club during the 2013-2014 season.

On the Nice side, Courtney Hunt (14.1 points, 8.0 rebounds, 15.6 performance rating) will reunite with her former Mondeville teammates whom she left this summer.
