A lot of emotion and sharing this Sunday, March 15, 2015, when the Harley du Cลur visited the home for autistic individuals at Oustaou Sainte Marie, their arms filled with presents, to offer the residents of the home 25 musical instruments, percussion instruments!
A small revolution for these adults whom life has deeply affected, and who happily discover the joys of music that they can now play themselves thanks to these instruments the big-hearted bikers decided to give them, following the success of the charitable event “cooking hand in hand” on January 31, orchestrated notably by Pastry Chef Jean-Michel LLORCA, and which also, thanks to the generosity of the partners who support the Harley du Coeur’s initiative, allowed the collection of enough funds to purchase this equipment.
A festive afternoon awaited the Harley du Cลur, accompanied by Mr. Honorรฉ Colomas, mayor of Saint Andrรฉ de la Roche and general councilor. Organized jointly by the thirty-odd residents present today, some accompanied by their families, the care teams, the nurse, and Mrs. DANESI, the socio-educational coordinator, the delicious snack was shared, in music of course, with treats made by the residents themselves, supported by the home’s staff.
Note that the second part of the funds raised during the charitable event “cooking hand in hand” will be used to purchase audio and video equipment for children hospitalized in the pediatric wards of Lenval Hospital and L’Archet Hospital in Nice. These devices will be delivered by Harley du Coeur by the Easter holidays.
