This Sunday, after the Enduro des Portes du Mercantour, the Enduro Kids, and the Enduro E-Bike, Valberg is organizing a unique event in collaboration with the Valberg-Beuil sports club: the Enduro Girls des Portes du Mercantour.
A European first with a sports event dedicated to women. More than sixty women have already registered.
Among them are numerous champions such as Cécile Ravanel, 1st in the overall ranking of the Enduro World Series, Isabeau Courdurier, 2nd in the overall ranking of the Enduro World Series, and Carolin and Anita Gerig, from Switzerland, in the top 5 of the Enduro World Series.
A sporting, festive, friendly, but above all feminine day with an exceptional program combining speed, technique, diversity, and thrilling sensations:
Mountain bike Enduro with 5 stages, including 1 surprise: 35km, 800m ascent and 1350m descent.
A 24km hike, 820m ascent including a chairlift ride.
For many participants, the Enduro Girls des Portes du Mercantour offers excellent preparation for the Enduro World Series, which will be held in Valberg on the French round on September 17 & 18.
