As everyone knows, SAMU is a hospital service that provides continuous medical listening, determining and initiating the most appropriate medical response to the nature of the call as quickly as possible.
Despite a busy schedule, these emergency doctors manage to find time to exercise and train together. Thus, in 2004, they established the SAMU and Emergency Multisport Nature Raid.
The SAMU and Emergency Raid takes place every year (in May or June) over 2 days in teams of 3 raiders.
The events follow one another with good humor: running and mountain biking with orienteering, canoeing, archery, climbing, abseiling, surprise events (local produce tasting, nature quizzes, skill games…). Participants discover on this occasion the richness of the heritage as well as the curiosities and tourist sites…
This year, the challenge for the team from Nice will be significant, as they will have to host the 13th edition, which will take place from June 2nd to 5th.
On the program: mountain biking, orienteering, canoeing, paddle boarding, surprise events starting from the Castle Hill (on Friday) and Vaugrenier Park (on Saturday).
No worries in case of injuries or other incidents: SAMU will be on site!
