2019 must be a crucial year for changing the climate situation. We need to put pressure on decision-makers from all sides.
On January 26 and 27, Citizens for Climate, in collaboration with climate partners and stakeholders, is co-organizing a “climate action” weekend throughout France and the world. Once again, citizens will make their voices heard and loudly proclaim that the fight against the climate crisis must be Humanity’s priority.
This Sunday, the Citizens for Climate collective is expecting thousands of walkers in Nice, who are aware of the planet’s issues and mobilized to save what can still be saved.
“We want to break records. Exceed 4,000 participants.” The Citizens for Climate believe in it. As firm as solid ground.
“Nice rises for the climate,” the march is expected to be huge. Because there is danger for the planet. Because we can still turn things around: a 45% reduction in GHG emissions by 2030 and carbon neutrality by 2050 are necessary!
In 2018, the three “climate marches” gathered numerous citizens. Nearly 500,000 people took to the streets worldwide. A real awareness of the climate issue has taken hold of each of us.
