In 30 years, Parc Phoenix has become one of the flagship attractions of the City of Nice. With 7 hectares of greenery, a 25-meter high greenhouse, 2,500 different plant species, and 2,000 animals, the park is a marvel.
After visiting the park, it’s time to explore the adventure course among the trees.
In 2019, more than 364,450 visitors passed through the gates, thanks in part to the direct connection by tram line 2. The adventure course complements the park’s recreational and educational activities. It took six months of work to develop this treetop course. The wooden poles are designed to blend into the park. Accessible to people aged three to eighty, the adventure course is expected to appeal to a wide audience. It includes three courses for children and one specially designed for adults. The mayor took the opportunity to inaugurate the structure by taking a leap into the void himself.
In the future, the adventure course could expand, possibly by crossing the lake, for example. The director of Parc Phoenix isn’t ruling anything out. For now, Jean Michèle Meuriot is focused on setting up a new room and creating a suspended bridge in the greenhouse.
