Connecting, exchanging, debating, and boosting your business is now possible thanks to SBC Sud: the first network of professionals and key players in the sports industry in the region!
There were more than a dozen of them this Thursday evening at the Martinez. It was on the Boulevard de la Croisette that Christophe Visconti, co-founder of the Sport Business Club (SBC) Sud, decided to host his guests. The program included debate and networking (creating contacts with other professionals) among entrepreneurs specializing in sports, bankers, lawyers, local association players, and representatives from the Cannes City Hall.
Created in September 2018, SBC Sud presents itself as the first network of professionals and key players in the sports industry in the South region. Their focus is on networking and service provision.
“Service Provider”
“The aim of this meeting is to increase our visibility among as many people as possible to hopefully approach potential partners. This type of club does not exist anywhere else in the South. We hope to manage an area ranging from the gates of Var to those of Italy,” explains Christophe Visconti.
The objective, therefore, is to be a service provider. To be a facilitator for club members, through their personal online space or through organized events. In short, to be the intermediary between the various players in the sports industry while creating added value.
SBC Sud even offers itself as a textile supplier for clubs or amateur athletes! “This creates a reference, additional visibility for us,” assures one of the project’s co-founders.
“Meeting around afterwork evenings”
“SBC offers its members the opportunity to meet around monthly afterwork evenings. It is also a dedicated members area, where you access exclusive benefits with suppliers, brands, and service providers,” explains Bruno Mezence, co-founder. For example, benefit from discounted rates on certain merchandise or tickets to major events!
How to join? By visiting their website (link at the bottom of the page) and following the instructions. It costs €699 annually excluding VAT (exclusively open to professionals in the sports industry), with a decreasing rate from two registrations per person from the same company. If you are a student or young athlete, lower rates are also available.
