Act XVIII: The Grand Finale? Bam, Boom, Bang

Latest News

The Yellow Vests announce a Saturday of XXXX format and launch an “ultimatum.” To whom and for what purpose? Should France be afraid of its “people” or those self-proclaimed as such?

If you listen to the Yellow Vests, freedom is on the march, and nothing can stop it. It even lets us catch a glimpse of the light… yellow.

In Nice, the meeting point is set at the Thiers train station before the traditional walk (which is good for health) to Place Garibaldi, where protesters will join those from the March for the Climate.

Nearly four months after the “Yellow Vests” crisis, what remains? Nothing new in the Saturnalian ceremonies (it’s pleasant to meet every Saturday) that we have witnessed since November.

What remains of an anger that never managed to condense into precise proposals? For the worse, the bitterness of a movement that never made the effort to move from rejection to the project, and the desolation of having fallen into hatred.

As for the physical and verbal violence of the “activist” Yellow Vests and the rioters, it is more about the desire to fabricate an enemy (the institutions) rather than the desire to topple them.

What symptoms was it the expression of? Or what pathologies was it the symptom of?

The failure of the attempted co-opting by those who did the belly dance in a yellow vest, the National Rally, whose leader cannot neither applaud nor disavow attacks on police, La France Insoumise which sold its soul by igniting in the name of the people against dictatorship (!!!), the Republicans of Laurent Wauquiez, one day in yellow vests and the next asking to ban demonstrations…

All of this clearly shows that the movement never managed to give itself a backbone and remained a galaxy without soul or body.

The movement can continue indefinitely, but it will not go any further.
