The “Friends of LACASSAGNE” Association presented Mr. Loïc MONDOLINI, Deputy General Director of the Antoine-Lacassagne Center, with a cheque for 2,000 €, the proceeds from the concert given by David BISMUTH on March 16 at St Francis of Paula Church.
Before a knowledgeable audience, David BISMUTH, who has the art of creating genuine interactions with his listeners, performed a well-rounded program beginning with two pieces by the BACH family, followed by Beethoven’s Moonlight Sonata and Schubert’s magnificent Impromptu No. 3. He concluded with Beethoven’s Keyboard Variations on a march by Ernst Christoph Dressler, a rarely performed piece.
The funds raised will be used to equip the rooms of hospitalized patients at the Antoine Lacassagne Center with individual secure safes to safely store their personal belongings.
