The decrease in the number of patients severely affected by the coronavirus and hospitalized in intensive care continued this Sunday, reaching 1,655 patients, which is 10 fewer in 24 hours, according to a statement from the Directorate General of Health.

The total number of patients in intensive care (from all causes), which notably reflects the pressure on the hospital system, “remains high” with 5,600 patients, the same number as the previous day.

Regarding mortality, the next update of data collected by Public Health France will take place on Monday, due to the Ascension Day holiday.
