There’s no doubt, due to the Coronavirus, the start date for the summer sales of 2020, initially scheduled for Wednesday, June 24, is postponed to Wednesday, July 15.
This was announced by the Minister of Economy Bruno Le Maire this Tuesday, the first day of the second phase of lifting lockdown measures in France.
The summer sales of 2020 will therefore take place from Wednesday, July 15 to Tuesday, August 11. The schedule will be the same for all departments.
This was the wish of the Nice merchants, conveyed by Christian Estrosi to the Minister of Economy and the Prefect of Alpes-Maritimes.
To think that the Mayor of Nice is often the “prompter” for the Government is a step…not one we will take.
We could limit ourselves to saying that being the voice of the territories for practical men is not without its returns. And that’s perfectly fine.
