Many charitable organizations close their doors during the summer period, leaving vulnerable and distressed individuals struggling to find help for themselves and their families.

Every summer for several years, The Salvation Army has chosen to continue assisting recipients of food aid.

This summer, this assistance will take the form of several thousand meals served in various cities across France, thanks to the mobilization of more than 400 volunteers and employees of The Salvation Army.

This emergency aid is implemented through different initiatives such as outreach vans, “night soups,” meals at social restaurants, social groceries, and food packages.

In Nice, the number of meal trays increases in July: more than 3,700 meals will be distributed.

Food aid continues this summer in Nice, with an increase in the number of meal trays served throughout July: thus, every midday, the social restaurant “Bรฉthanie” (located at 1 Rue Guigonis in the heart of Old Nice) will serve 120 complete and balanced meal trays instead of the usual 100.
