After the removal of its president Joëlle Martinaux, who had announced her intention to run for Mayor of Nice under the LREM banner (without, however, being endorsed by the party’s authorities), resulting in her delegations being withdrawn, the Nice Communal Center for Social Action (CCAS) convened to establish its new Board of Directors, chaired by the Mayor of the city as a matter of course.
It is Christiane Amiel, Municipal Councilor, delegated to Social Affairs and Niçois citizens of the European Union, and sub-delegated to Health, who was elected Vice-President.
The missions of the CCAS of Nice are defined according to three main axes in the fields of precarity and exclusion, social development, and gerontology.
