The European Week of Safety

Coordinator of the Partnership on Security in Public Spaces of the Urban Agenda of the European Union and leader of the European Pactesur project on the protection of public spaces against terrorism, the City of Nice is hosting the European Security Week from October 14 to 18.

During this week, numerous speakers, experts in security issues, will be present. This event allows all security forces and European authorities, who work daily on the safety of public spaces, to share their experiences through the organization of conferences and debates. The cities of Athens, Madrid, London, Riga, Gdansk, Lisbon, Munich, Essen, Edinburgh, Leeds, and Xabia, associated with the Pactesur project, will also be gathered.

Jean-Charles Brisard, President of the Center for Terrorism Analysis, Pascal Bolot, Prefect and Director of State Protection and Security, as well as representatives from Europol, the New York Police, and Scotland Yard, will also share their experiences during several round tables and conferences.
