The route of the 80th edition of the major cycling race was announced in Versailles this Wednesday.
One of the most followed cycling races in France, Paris-Nice, will take place from March 6 to 13, 2022.
Consisting of eight stages, the race will start in the Yvelines department, from Mantes-la-Ville, before crossing eight departments (Loiret, Cher, Creuse, Allier, Loire, Ardรจche, Vaucluse, Bouches-du-Rhรดne) to finish in the Alpes-Maritimes on the Promenade des Anglais in Nice.
Before arriving on the promenade, the riders will undertake two stages (7 and 8) in the department, passing through the Vรฉsubie valley and the Col de Turini (1604 meters in altitude).
