This morning, invited to speak by Jean-Jacques Bourdin, the mayor of Nice, Christian Estrosi, announced having ordered self-tests that will be distributed for free to families in the city every week.
90,000. This is the number of self-tests ordered by the mayor. They will be delivered as early as this week and can be distributed to families starting next week, at a rate of two self-tests per family per week.
“I am providing two self-tests per family per week so that they can themselves check at home and provide proof at the school entrance that there is no risk of contamination,” declared the mayor of Nice on BFMTV-RMC.
He also added that this Sunday, January 16, children from Nice will be able to get tested at the cityโs vaccine center, at the exhibition palace.
While the protocol in schools has changed three times in eight days, 62% of teachers in middle and high schools are reported to be on strike this Thursday, January 13.
