Since January 1, 2018, the effective implementation of the “Modernization of Territorial Public Action and Affirmation of Metropolises” Law (MAPTAM) has introduced the depenalization of paid parking.
In order to offer consumers and merchants in the Alpes-Maritimes solutions to facilitate the implementation of this parking-related obligation, the Nice Côte d’Azur Chamber of Commerce and Industry proposes an innovative concept: a unique card with the advantages of contactless payment, an electronic wallet, retailer loyalty bonuses, and thus a form of free service for shoppers.
The city of Metz has put this initiative in place for 2 years and will be followed this year by Bordeaux and Strasbourg.
Meetings have made it possible for the cities of Nice, Cagnes-sur-Mer, Saint-Laurent-du-Var, Antibes, and Cannes, as well as all the commercial federations and associations, to be informed.
