“Le Stade Niçois presents its new coaching staff.”

Latest News

After a period of reflection and some hesitation, the leaders from the Côte d’Azur have chosen who will replace the Georgian Bogdan Bogashivili, who has been leading the first team for six years.

The duo Arnaud Vercruysse / Alexandre Compan has been appointed to lead the Stade Niçois. They will take up their positions starting July 1st.

The club’s objectives remain the same: to compete at the top of the National league and, if possible, gain promotion to ProD2, while also developing the club’s prospects and its training center.

Vercruysse is a former professional player who played for Béziers, Pau, Dax, Châteaurenard, and Aix, participating in matches in the first division, in the TOP 16, in Fédérale 1, and ProD2. After retiring, he became a coach. He first coached two of his former clubs: Béziers in Top 16 and Aix-en-Provence in Pro D2. He later became the manager and coach of Rodez in Fédérale 1.

Alexandre Compan, who accompanies him, is also a former player. He played for several clubs in the Paris region (PUC, Metro Racing, Bobigny, Orsay) as well as Aubenas in ProD2. With a physical education teacher’s background, he coached the youth teams of Stade Français and Racing 92 and managed the club Bobigny.

They will be able to rely on an experienced team to complete the technical staff: Sébastien Bruno, focusing on forward play, Romain Guerin and Viktor Maquaire, physical trainers, Jean-Baptiste Yahé, medical head, Martin Jagr, Team Manager and Video Analyst, Michel Cassinelli, Jean-Marc Roman, Henry Luis, Deny Mazoyer: administrative and logistics managers, Frédéric Masse, referee consultant.
