As part of its policy for the preservation and enhancement of natural and marine areas, the Department of Alpes-Maritimes has decided to create a marine protected area on the maritime public domain of the commune of Théoule-sur-Mer, in partnership with the Coastal Conservatory.
This initiative is fully in line with the Department’s ambition regarding ecological transition with the GREEN Deal and aims at integrated management between land and sea.
This marine area was established through the allocation of 353 hectares of state maritime public domain to the Coastal Conservatory.
