300 future engineers/computer scientists made aware of addictions

Latest News

Because addictions and their consequences are still too little known among young people, the Prefecture of Alpes-Maritimes and G-ADDICTION Intercampus raised awareness among the 300 MIAG (Methods in Information Technology Applied to Business Management) students in Sophia-Antipolis this Wednesday. It is a first at this campus located at 1645 Route des Lucioles, in Biot!

As part of the Interministerial Mission to Combat Dependency and Addictive Behaviors, the Prefecture of Alpes-Maritimes and G-ADDICTION Intercampus will deploy, for the first time on this site, a prevention village aimed at students in Methods in Information Technology Applied to Business Management.

Addictions to screens, gambling, sports betting, alcohol consumption, tobacco, hookah, or even electronic cigarettes: raising awareness requires foundational work that must begin at the start of the university term!

To establish and ensure a sustainable change in behavior, this field action is supported by young people who are particularly aware of the current consumption trends among their peers.
