While Eric Zemmour is slowly but surely advancing in the political world, he still does not seem decided on officially announcing his candidacy for the presidency. Yet, the famous polemicist (formerly a columnist on Cnews) appears to be feared by certain media outlets. The weekly newspaper Paris-Match published an intimate photo of Eric Zemmour without his knowledge, leading to a complaint being filed by the writer.
The front page of Paris-Match this Thursday morning is entirely focused on the private life of Eric Zemmour. “Eric Zemmour and his very close advisor, an investigation into the young graduate who runs his campaign” is the title of the front page that is set to appear today.
A photo clearly revealing an intimate moment, a swim between Eric Zemmour and Sarah Knafo, 28 years old, campaign manager and advisor.
An image defined as a “violation of privacy” according to the writerโs lawyer, Olivier Pardo. Invited this morning on the BFMTV set, Maรฎtre Pardo condemns “a will to harm, to damage” through this photo. “One cannot violate privacy”, explains the lawyer, emphasizing that such photos add nothing to the public interest. “It is strictly useless, it lowers the public debate.”
Furthermore, Maรฎtre Pardo recalls that his client has never previously exposed his private life on social media or in the public press. Eric Zemmour, for his part, reacted on the social network Twitter, seeming to denounce apprehension on the part of his rivals.
It seems that I am starting to worry enough for Paris-Match, the lapdog of power, to try to harm me. I will not be intimidated.

An image that “lowers the public debate”
While tonight one of the most anticipated public debates of the year is taking place, pitting Eric Zemmour the famous polemicist against Jean-Luc Mรฉlenchon the eternal rebel at 8:45 PM on BFMTV, the image that appeared on the front page of Paris-Match, seems indeed to discredit our subject who claims to be ready to tackle the future of France. Furthermore, Olivier Pardo assures “that every time photos were published regarding the private life of his client, he never lost a case.” A show of force that will certainly (or not) delay some decision-making by various media outlets.
