On the occasion of the 10th anniversary of its inauguration, the Nice archaeological crypt welcomes you this weekend of November 5 and 6 to celebrate this event in style.
It was on October 5, 2012, that the Nice archaeological crypt opened its doors to us for the first time. To duly mark this decade of existence, numerous activities are planned throughout the month of November to celebrate the occasion.
Exhibition 2006-2007, an exceptional excavation: from November 4, 2022, to January 4, 2023 – Place Toja
A visual return to the excavations carried out on tramway line 1. With photographs by Laurent Colonna, the discovery of the fortification system destroyed in 1706 is honored. This large-scale excavation, conducted under difficult conditions, can be rediscovered through this exhibition.
Open house weekend on November 5 and 6: Understanding the history of the city and its fortifications – Meeting point at Place Toja
Guided tours will take place over two days, every 30 minutes, with guides from the City of Art and History service. Here is the program: the history of the fortification of the Pairolière gate, the first Parolière bastion, and the reconstruction of the Pairolière bastion.

The association Les Ateliers illustrés was created in 2012 by Camille Chrétien to promote books and reading through children’s books.
