1. Transformers: Rise Of The Beasts by Steven Caple Jr
The Transformers saga returns for a seventh installment. The new episode immerses fans of the franchise in the 90s as the formidable Decepticons have just arrived on Earth and Optimus Prime is acclimating. Traces of a war between two ancient factions of Transformers, the Maximals and the Predacons, are discovered. The Maximals will join the Autobots in their eternal battle against the Decepticons. The allies will face an even greater threat. Unicron, a giant metallic planet, is about to devour Earth.
2. Marinette by Virginie Verrier
Marinette Pichon has been immersed in football since she was a little girl. She plays in mixed teams until she is 16 and experiences sexism inherent in the football world on a daily basis. She also faces violence at home from her father who abuses her mother. Despite the difficulties, she builds a strong-willed character. She juggles her football career and odd jobs until her effort pays off. She is subsequently selected for the French National Team and noticed by an American team. A feature film inspired by a true story.
3. Love Again: un peu, beaucoup, passionnรฉment by Jim Strouse
Mira Ray undergoes intense grief after the death of her fiancรฉ. She starts sending him messages on his phone to express her feelings, unaware that his number has been reassigned. A young man named Rob Burns now receives her texts on his work phone. A feature film starring Cรฉline Dion, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Sam Heughan, and Nick Jonas, adapted from the German writer Sofie Cramer’s novel Text for You.
4. Last Night in Milan by Andrea Di Stefano
Franco Amore is a police officer with a 35-year career. His last day of work in the Italian police force was supposed to be just another day, but an event changes everything. An honest cop who has never shot anyone in his entire life, he will break the rules on his last night on duty: the night of all dangers. It is in the darkness of Milan’s streets that the night stretches out as everything unravels at a frantic pace for Franco Amore, played by Pierfrancesco Favino.
5. Golden Hands by Isabelle Mergault
Franรงois, a renowned writer, played by Lambert Wilson, is about to join the French Academy. On the surface, his life is perfect; he is with a surgeon wife and surrounded by high-ranking friends, yet he suffers from terrible back pain that ruins his life. When his back encounters Martha’s healing hands, played by Josiane Balasko, it brings immense relief. The two characters are now bonded by an unexpected friendship.
