Last week, the Olympic Departmental Committee of the Alpes-Maritimes held their ceremonial wishes, at the Palais des Rois Sardes.
Presided over by Philippe Manassero, president of the CDOS 06 and Charles Ange Ginรฉsy, president of the Alpes-Maritimes Department.
Three hundred people attended the ceremony at the Palais des Rois Sardes for the CDOS 06 wishes. The event included the presence of Eric Ciotti, president of the Financial Commission of the Department, as well as Carine Papy, Vice-President of the Alpes-Maritimes Department in charge of youth and sports.
The CDOS 06 gathered numerous mayors, elected officials, athletes including players from the OGC Nice women’s team and the Eagles of Nice, educators, clubs, volunteers, and others to discuss perspectives for 2024.

During the ceremony, sports as well as athletes were celebrated with key moments such as:
- The honoring of figure skater Adam Siao Him Fa, double European champion in figure skating and member of the CDOS 06 Team Espoirs.
- The awarding of bronze medals for “Youth, sports and associative engagement.”
- The awarding of “Terres de Jeux” labels to the municipalities of Guillaumes and Ascros.
- The Gรฉnรฉration Capron operation, with the distribution of 20 CDOS 06 t-shirts to students from Capron middle school in Cannes.
Philippe Manassero extended his best wishes to the Maralpin athletes who will represent France in the 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games. “A global event that will illuminate our lives and highlight the spirit of sport,” he affirms, marking a year devoted to sports.
