Everyone STAND UP on this International Women’s Rights Day to affirm solidarity and support for refugees (women make up 49% of refugees), to resist the challenges to women’s rights worldwide, to demand professional equality, to strike, to support calls for work stoppages at 3:40 PM across France and in all workplaces.
The Women’s Rights Collective 06 (ADN, AFCC06, ATTAC, Artisans du Monde, CGT Educ’action, PCF Feminist Collective, Ensemble!06, Group for Feminist Reflection Action, Habitat et Citoyenneté, LDH, Family Planning 06, Movement Nuit Debout Nice, MRAP, Transition Alpes-Maritimes, Union of Communist Students) calls for a gathering around refugee women who will testify, around Pinar Selek, who symbolizes a resistant Turkey and is under threat of a life sentence by an authoritarian, nationalist, Islamo-conservative Turkey, around citizens who fight against all forms of violence against women!
