A march for peace organized by the supporters of Mélenchon

To promote peace and cooperation, achieving independence is an absolute necessity. France does not have to be the world’s policeman, particularly regarding its former colonies.

Today, the French army is involved in an unprecedented number of armed conflicts with vague objectives, often because they are unacknowledged, and unhealthy alliances. The only legitimate body to ensure collective security is the United Nations Organization. France must advocate for the strengthening of this institution in response to threats to stability and peace.

Let us reject any military intervention abroad that is not under a UN mandate! The program advocated by Jean-Luc Mélenchon is the only one in this presidential election that breaks away from war logics and provides the means to build a World of Peace and cooperation among Nations for collective security.
