On November 11 and 12, 2023, Parc Phoenix will host the 27th international festival of nature and adventure imagery, EXPLORIMAGES.
The Linnรฉ hall of Parc Phoenix will open its doors this weekend to nature and adventure enthusiasts. During two afternoons, this festival is primarily a moment of meetings and dialogues. Great travelers, such as Evrard Wendenbaum, will be present to discuss their adventures with the general public.
This “adventurer of the Lost Worlds” conducts various actions around the world for the preservation of biodiversity. Traveling since the age of 19, he has witnessed the rapid degradation of biodiversity. This concern led him to found the environmental NGO Naturevolution at the age of 30. This NGO aims to protect the last unexplored lands on the planet.
This festival will also offer the opportunity to attend the screening of about ten films on nature and travel. Additionally, the event will feature a second guest of honor, the Nice-based speleologist Michel Siffre. At 83 years old, he will provide a retrospective of his pioneering explorations in solitary confinement.
