To ensure hygiene and safety in the slaughtering of animals for Aรฏd al-Adha, four designated slaughtering sites are planned in the department on September 1st and 2nd:
– The Puget-Thรฉniers slaughterhouse, primarily reserved for professional butchers;
– Three temporary slaughterhouses in Escragnolles (Lieu dit La Bastide), Caussols (quartier Pierre-Haute chemin des Claps), and Contes (2130, route de Chรขteauneuf).
These slaughterhouses are subject to controls conducted by the Departmental Directorate for the Protection of Populations – veterinary services.
