Four language students at the University of Nice have launched a new humanitarian association under the 1901 law named Averroes Humanity.
The Averroes Association is a charitable and humanitarian organization with the primary goal of helping impoverished, disaster-stricken individuals and political and climate refugees, both in our region and around the world.
Passionate about travel and humanity, these students wanted to create their own association to be closer to the field and to those who need moral and material support. The association is fully committed to aiding these individuals within France and abroad.
Projects have already begun, including two food distribution events for the homeless in the city of Nice.
These distributions have been a success, serving 100 meals and earning 100 smiles.
Sharing and respect are the watchwords for the many young members of the association, who are full of ideas and passion.
A humanitarian trip to Lebanon is being planned for the end-of-year celebrations to assist those in need on-site, whether by addressing food, clothing, medical, or other needs.
The association has far-reaching ambitions and is raising funds for ongoing and upcoming projects.
