Meetings with writers and readings in the street, reading walks on two major routes, literary cafés, conferences, photo exhibitions, activities for children, workshops for all audiences and evening concerts await you on July 1st and 2nd in Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat!
This first sea festival will welcome:
Yann Queffelec: Saturday and Sunday
Isabelle Autissier: book signing Saturday at 6pm
Patrick Poivre d’Arvor: book signing Sunday at 3pm
The speakers and artists of this first edition will address two themes:
The sea: inner adventure, or How the sea transforms man
Stories of races, stories of lives linked to the sea, stories of maritime places, stories of marine impressions. The invited authors will be these adventurers transformed by the sea.
The sea: mistreated ecosystem, or How man transforms the sea
General overview of the marine environment including notably the conferences of Laurent Ballesta (co-author of Planet Sea published by Michel Lafon), and pending confirmation, the participation of the Oceanographic Museum.
