From June 16, 2027, Air Canada will operate a direct service from Nice Côte d’Azur airport to Toronto. Two flights per week are scheduled until October 23.
A new North American destination will be added to the program of Nice Côte d’Azur airport. Air Canada will open a direct service to Toronto from June 16, 2027. The Canadian airline will schedule two flights per week, on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
The service will be operated with an Airbus A330-300. Operations are scheduled until October 23, 2027. The announced flight time is approximately 9 hours and 20 minutes.
This opening will allow travelers to reach Toronto without a stopover from the Côte d’Azur. Until now, a change of plane was necessary to make this journey from Nice.
Nice will offer daily flights to Canada
The new service will complement the flight already offered between Nice and Montreal. The Azur airport will thus have connections allowing daily travel to Canada.
For Air Canada, Toronto and Montreal are two hubs that allow passengers to continue their journey to numerous destinations. The connection network serves more than 250 cities in Canada, the United States, Latin America and the Caribbean.

For travelers, the service thus opens direct access to Toronto while facilitating the continuation of the journey to other destinations in the Americas.
This announcement comes as connections between Nice and North America continue to develop. The long-haul network of Nice Côte d’Azur airport now has 11 routes to this part of the world.
Air Canada also plans a new seasonal service between Basel-Mulhouse and Montreal for summer 2027. The service will be operated with an Airbus A321XLR.
On the Nice side, transatlantic offerings are also set to evolve with a fourth direct service to New York planned for 2027. The new Toronto route will thus strengthen nonstop travel options from the Côte d’Azur to North America.
