On the initiative of the Franco-Persian cultural association chaired by Dr. Alain Salimpour and the eminent musician and musicologist Zia Mirabdolbaghi, a prestigious concert will be organized this Wednesday at 6 p.m. in the auditorium of the Regional Conservatory of Music.
Musicians of great quality will come to perform especially in France and will provide a glimpse of the exceptional quality of this music.
The timing of this concert coincides with the Mehregan festival, one of the four most important Iranian festivals. It is the festival of love which in Persian mythology replaced the divinity of war. Moreover, the exchange of rings during weddings originates from this festival.
