Several people were inside the store located on boulevard Paul Montel at the time of the incident. No injuries were reported. Three men are being sought by investigators.

A supermarket in the Moulins district, in Nice, was targeted during the night of Friday 8 to Saturday 9 May. The incident occurred at 58 boulevard Paul Montel. Several shots were fired at the establishment while several people were inside.

According to initial reports, an explosion also occurred during the attack. The origin of this blast has not yet been determined. Six 9mm shell casings were found at the scene.

No injuries were identified after the emergency services and law enforcement intervened.

Three men sought after shootings in Moulins

According to initial reports, witnesses mention the presence of three young hooded men. The suspects allegedly fled in a vehicle heading towards the motorway after the shots and explosion.

An investigation into attempted murder in an organized gang context and criminal association has been opened. The investigation has been assigned to the Inter-departmental Directorate of the National Police and the Inter-departmental Service of the Judicial Police.
