A unified football tournament for OGC Nice

As part of the European Week of Unified Sports, OGC Nice, in partnership with Special Olympics France, organized a football tournament on Monday, April 8, bringing together children with mental disabilities and young people from the Training Center.


olympics_ogcnice.jpg For the past 2 years, OGC Nice has been a partner of the Special Olympics France Association, the largest global sports movement dedicated to people with mental disabilities.

As part of this partnership, OGC Nice organizes an Annual Unified Football Tournament bringing together young people aged 16 to 20 with mental disabilities as well as young players from OGC Nice.

This Monday, therefore, 6 teams met on the fields of the OGC Nice Training Center. For an afternoon, the young disabled participants were immersed in the world of football by playing with the young prospects from the Club’s Training Center.

An ideal opportunity to show that disability and sport are now inseparable, with the exceptional presence of Timothรฉe Kolodziejczak.
