Cinema takes center stage this year during the traditional August 15th fireworks display, a sound and light pyrotechnic show, accompanied by the most beautiful film scores. Numerous activities will take place from afternoon to evening. We tell you everything!
From the port, passing by the Promenade, up to the Paillon Promenade, the August 15th festivities will resonate throughout Nice.
Port of Nice
4:30 PM: Gathering in front of the Port church
Each year, for the feast of the Assumption, Nice celebrates the Virgin Mary, patron saint of sailors. On the program: Procession to the Entrecasteaux quay, parade of floral-decorated pointus in the Lympia and Admirals basin, blessing followed by a parade of pointus and a mass.

6:00 PM: Folkloric Parade
With all the folkloric groups from the 2019 Folklore Festival
Parade of Nations from Place de la Bourgada to the Venet Arch

Launched at sea in front of the Nice Opera – On the theme of “Cinema,” the fireworks will be accompanied by the most beautiful film scores.
