The Department of Alpes-Maritimes, in partnership with the Alpes Azur association, organized the 1st Departmental Cyclosportive Challenge 06 from May to October 2017, with routes spread across the entire Alpes-Maritimes area, from the middle to the highlands, passing through Vence, Breil-sur-Roya, Peille, and Saint-Martin-Vésubie, in order to enhance and promote the fabulous sites that the Alpes-Maritimes offers for cycling.
This Cyclosportive Challenge 06 was a great success and attracted many competitors from outside the country. A total of 1,600 riders traveled to cover the 705 km that made up the entirety of the 5 routes. A race format with an exceptional playground was developed to satisfy all cycling enthusiasts.
During this award ceremony, the dates for the 2nd edition of the Cyclosportive Challenge 06 in 2018 will be unveiled.
