Greenbull Group is rolling out a new recruitment approach with season 2 of Business or Talent. The program, broadcast on YouTube, becomes a real-world assessment tool for identifying profiles capable of structuring a project, defending a vision and adapting to an entrepreneurial environment.
The new season of Business or Talent is part of a strategy that disrupts recruitment standards. The group is betting on a system where candidates are no longer filtered by a CV but confronted with concrete situations. An approach endorsed by Yann Darwin, co-founder of the group: “what makes an entrepreneur is not necessarily the idea but the person. With ‘Business or Talent’, we want to highlight audacity, competence and perseverance.” The first season had five episodes and reached 2.5 million views. Season 2 amplifies this momentum. Eight episodes were filmed at the Victorine studios in Nice, on a 300 m² set. More than 800 candidates were auditioned across France. Fifty profiles were selected to participate in the program. The first episode will air on May 17 on the group’s YouTube channel.
A hybrid format between media and recruitment
The system is based on simple mechanics, similar to the show Who Wants to Be My Partner? Each appearance opens two perspectives: joining a project within Greenbull Accelerator or joining the group’s teams directly as an employee, partner or consultant. This public exposure of the selection process strengthens the format’s appeal and establishes the show as a talent detection lever. Production represents an investment of 350,000 euros. Twelve investments were made following the first season, for amounts between 100,000 and 1.2 million euros. Four talents were also recruited. The group is aiming for an audience volume higher than that of the first season.
This approach is part of a broader trend: rethinking recruitment methods to better reveal atypical profiles and skills that are invisible on paper. The format adopts entertainment codes while incorporating an educational dimension around entrepreneurship. The objective is to analyze how a candidate structures an idea, defends a strategy or reacts to a hypothetical situation.
Greenbull Group, founded in 2017, brings together fifteen brands in the real estate, finance, investment, consumer goods, education and media sectors. The group, based in France and Dubai, is developing an ecosystem designed to support individuals and businesses in their wealth and strategic growth. The business has sixty employees and revenue exceeding 40 million euros in 2024.
