The Championโs Cup Rekupo 2025 ended on Wednesday, May 28 in Nice. Thirty-two youth teams competed in the finals in a festive atmosphere. Three clubs walked away with the trophies.
The Allianz Riviera stadium hosted the grand finals of the Championโs Cup Rekupo over two days. This event, which combines football with ecological awareness, brought together 32 teams from three categories: U9 and U11 boys, and U13 girls.
In the U9 boys’ category, AC Berthe won the final through penalties against Paris Acasa. For the U11s, Montpellier HSC dominated Paris Saint-Germain with a score of 2-0. Finally, in the U13 girlsโ category, RC Strasbourg prevailed against AS Saint-Priest (1-0).
The tournament also served as an opportunity to highlight actions in favor of the environment. An educational village, the Rekupo EcoDDS, was set up on-site. The young participants were educated about the sorting of chemical waste and recycling.
The mayor of Nice, Christian Estrosi, kicked off the first OGC Nice match, which finished 5th in the U11 category. Several football figures were present, including Florian Maurice, Tanguy Ndombele, and Rolland Courbis.
In conclusion, the organizers reiterated their goal of leaving a positive footprint, both on the environment and on young minds by encouraging them to become agents of change.
