The azure capital is ranked second to last among the 31 French cities studiedโฆ
Nice Matin published a study conducted by the brokerage company MeilleurTaux and the job search site Meteojob on the largest cities in France that best combine employment and housing.
To do this, two criteria were used: real estate purchasing power (number of square meters a household can acquire based on the monthly payment they can afford and the duration of the loan) and the number of full-time job offers (permanent contract) published in mid-October 2021.
A bitter result for the southern cities and the Provence Alpes Cรดte d’Azur region, as at the bottom of the ranking we find Marseille, last on the list, narrowly preceded by Nice (30/31) and Montpellier (29/31).
The capital of the Cรดte d’Azur received poor numbers. Only 2.47 out of 100 people in Nice on a permanent contract, which represents only a living space of 36m2 over 20 years!
As for the ranking, it is topped by Mulhouse, which achieves 6.29 permanent contracts and 83 m2.
