More than 4,500 new cases of Covid-19 have been recorded in France over the past 24 hours. In total, 4,897 new positive diagnoses have been registered, compared to 3,602 the previous day.
The percentage of positive tests continues to slightly increase, reaching 3.6% (3.5% on Saturday). Thirty-two new clusters have been detected.
In total, 4,709 people are hospitalized due to a Covid-19 infection, a number slightly decreasing (4,711 on Saturday, 4,745 on Friday).
The number of ICU patients (383) has slightly increased compared to Saturday (380), and one additional death has been recorded, bringing the total number of deaths since the beginning of the epidemic in France to 30,513 people, including 20,002 within hospitals and 10,511 in social and medico-social establishments (a figure from Tuesday that will be updated on August 25).
