Creation of the “France Urbaine” Association: Christian Estrosi Elected 2nd Vice-President

The Association of Urban Communities and Metropolises of France and the Association of Mayors of Major Cities of France have merged to create a new association called “France Urbaine”.

This new association aims to more strongly represent the voice of urban areas, which are true laboratories of innovation and the invention of new forms of communal life, and which contribute to France’s economic development.

Nonetheless, Christian Estrosi, Deputy Mayor of Nice and President of the Nice Côte d’Azur Metropolis, elected as the 2nd Vice President of “France Urbaine”, emphasizes that “It is more necessary than ever to ensure balanced territorial development and to combine the strengths of the urban world and rural areas, which are complementary.”
